LMN offers membership and services to any public sector bodies, not necessarily connected with learning, but where the use of the network is to the benefit of the local community. These organisations span from London’s boroughs to charity organisations, professional societies and the capital’s NHS trusts and teaching hospitals. LMN hosted an event for public sector organisations raising awareness of how LMN can lower costs and increase service levels.
The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has already joined and is benefiting from LMN’s services and events. Three more distinguished London institutions have become LMN associate members as part of moves to extend the benefits of membership more widely: the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew, a world centre for research and scholarship in botany. The Imperial War Museum, a major centre for study of modern war and wartime experience. King’s fund, a leading independent charitable foundation working for better health, especially in London.
